Cove Sound Moorings Marina, located on the ICW (Marker 50)
in Cortez, Florida, is a private and quiet non-liveaboard Bradenton marina located
within an upscale condominuim and Key West style residential community.
It has 57 boat slips, many of which are exceptionally wide which can berth beamy boats
such as the newer sail and power catamarans.

Our air conditioned/heated Men's & Lady's "Head" facilities are kept spotless and are equipped with
a large shower. They are professionally maintained.
The slips at Cove Sound Moorings have 30 Amp 110VAC electrical service and duel-30 Amp
service is available in specific slip locations.
Some of our boats subscribe to satellite dish TV and install the dish on one of their pilings. Inquire
to the Dockmaster if you would like to install a dish on your neighboring piling.
One of the few local protected Bradenton marinas for your boat in the Bradenton-Sarasota
area, Cove Sound Moorings
is a centrally located Florida West Coast is not directly
exposed to the ICW or other river traffic, currents, wind and storms as are other
marinas in the area.
These residential buildings block much of the wind that effect other area Bradenton and
Sarasota marinas.
Plus, we are located just a minute or so from the ICW. No long cruises just to get
to open water.
Head North though the Anna Maria, FL drawbridge and you are in Tampa Bay with
fast access to the Gulf of Mexico.
Head South through the Cortez,, FL Bridge toward Sarasota and you have a wonderful short cruise
past the historic Village of Cortez and unique homes of Longboat Key
into Sarasota Bay. The Pass at Longboat Key provides quick access to the Gulf
of Mexico too.
