Cove Sound Moorings, a Florida West Coast marina,
is located off of Cortez Road-West, just East
of the Cortez Bridge on the mainland side.
From Cortez, take 127th Street West, over the small humpback bridge, past the Seafood
Shack restaurant. 127th turns into 129th Street West and continue until you
see Cove Sound Moorings marina on the left. (Marina Court Drive).
Cove Sound Moorings has two parking areas, one which is further down 129th, reserved
for the Bulkhead dock boaters and the main parking area which is on Marina Court Drive.

By Boat:
Cove Sound Moorings is located at Marker #50 on the ICW within a protected
harbor on the East side of the mainland between the Anna Marina Island
and the Cortez Bridges. Both of these bridges are drawbridges and are monitored
on VHF channel 9 by the bridgetenders.
Marker #50 is located at:
Look for the Red Marker #4 (Starboard) and the Green Marker #3 (Port) at the entrance
to the Cove Sound Moorings harbor.
NOAA Chart #11415 (Tampa Bay Entrance; Manatee River Extension)
and #11425 (Intracoastal Waterway Charlotte Harbor to Tampa Bay)
are good charts of the area.
